Jeffrey Gilbert Joins Turner as SVP and Chief Security Officer

Jeffrey T. Gilbert has joined Turner as senior vice president and chief security officer. Jeff will oversee security efforts, including identifying and anticipating areas of risk and developing a comprehensive global security strategy to mitigate those risks to employees, assets, intellectual property and all Turner holdings. His expertise will be coupled with the important work of Chief Information Security Officer, Pete Chronis, to expand the overall security and safety of Turner information and content and our employees around the world.
Jeff comes to Turner from PepsiCo, Inc. where he most recently served as a senior member of their corporate global security team. He oversaw the development of security processes, practices and policies throughout PepsiCo business units, both internationally and domestically. He also directed and managed strategic programs for the PepsiCo Global Security Organization, primarily responsible for efforts across the Latin America Region.
In addition to his corporate security experience, Jeff spent more than 20 years with the United States Secret Service, during which he protected five U.S. Presidents and was the Special Agent in Charge of the United States Secret Service, Atlanta Field Office.
Jeff is a graduate of Hampton University, Hampton, Virginia, holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Administration / Sociology, and has attended the International Security Management Association (ISMA), Senior Executive Leadership Program at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. He presently maintains affiliation with the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), U.S. State Department Overseas Advisory Council (OSAC), and the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE).
