Revolutionary gaming service launches in Argentina and Chile

As part of our ongoing efforts to reimagine television, we have introduced a new gaming steaming service in Latin America that is set to revolutionize the industry. GLOUD, now available in Argentina and Chile, is an affordable, accessible gaming service that gives our fans access to popular titles without having to pay for expensive consoles. With just an internet connection, players can enjoy hundreds of games that are available on-demand.
“Cloud-based gaming is the future of how people will consume video games,” said Aksel van der Wal, EVP, Digital Ventures & Innovation, Turner International. “At Turner, we take a fan-centric approach to everything we do, and GLOUD does exactly that. It is an innovative service which is aligned to our remit at DV&I of developing new and innovative products and services that drive Turner forward.”
GLOUD costs just 10 USD a month and is ideal for families, children, casual gamers and any fan of video games. Because the service uses online servers, players can start a game on one computer and then resume it on another without disrupting play. They’ll be able to access the refreshed library of games on either a Mac or PC. The service will also be available on smart TVs in the coming months.
GLOUD’s catalogue of games includes many from main publishers, as well as some independent games of most genres, including racing, action, adventure, strategy and more.
“We are in an era of great relationship and closeness with the consumer,” van der Wall added, “and GLOUD offers fans easy access to quality gaming content, whenever and wherever they want it. "
