Cynthia Hudson is Senior Vice President and General Manager of CNN en Español and Hispanic strategy for CNN/U.S. She oversees all aspects of the CNN en Español television network (including news gathering, editorial content, programming, production, daily operations and personnel), which reaches over 28 million subscribers in the United States and Latin America. She is also in charge of all operations of CNN en Español RADIO and CNNMéxico.com
Before she joined CNN en Español, she served as Creative Director and Executive Vice President of Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS) and Director of Mega TV. Before that, she served as Senior Vice President and Editorial Director of Cosmopolitan Television (a division of Hearst Entertainment and Syndication Group), heading up the creation of Cosmopolitan TV Networks, including Canal Cosmopolitan Iberia and Canal Cosmopolitan Latin America, as well as the foundation of Cosmo TV Canada. Prior to Cosmopolitan TV, she was Senior Vice President of Programming and Creative Services for United International Holding’s television network, United Family Communications (UFC), now MGM Networks Latin America; she also held senior positions at Telemundo Network and Univision Network.
Born in Los Angeles, she holds a Masters’ Degree in Communications from the University of Miami, and is fluent in English and Spanish.
