Season 1

A HERO FOR EARTH

Gaia, the spirit of Earth, summons five teenagers to help her in the battle to save the planet. In their first adventure, the Planeteers battle Hoggish Greedly, whose oil rig operation is jeopardizing the coastline. TV Log Listings: time.

LAST OF HER KIND

Looten Plunder is wiping out the elephant population of Africa in order to turn a quick profit in the ivory trade. The Planeteers learn firsthand the true cost of ivory trinkets, as they battle to save the African elephant from extinction. TV Log Listings: business.

DEAD SEAS

Hoggish Greedly and Rigger scheme to catch all the fish in the ocean with a fleet of driftnet fishing boats. When Greedly steals their rings, the Planeteers must use their wits to get them back and save thousands of marine animals, including turtles and dolphins, from the eco-villains deadly driftnets. POLLUTING BY COMPUTER

Dr. Blight and Sly Sludge break into the government's computer system and change all the national parks into giant dumpsites. Captain Planet and the Planeteers must stop their evil scheme before the parks become toxic wastelands. TV Log Listings: dumps.

POPULATION BOMB

Wheeler is marooned on a strange island inhabited by a race of humanoid mice who are destroying their environment by overpopulation and overconsumption. TV Log Listings: island.

OZONE HOLE

Duke Nukem destroys the ozone layer over Antarctica so he can feast on the sun's dangerous ultra-violet rays. Captain Planet and the Planeteers battle to protect the Earth from Nukem's deadly radiation. TV Log Listings: radiation.

BEAST OF THE TEMPLE

The Planeteers and Captain Planet travel to Thailand to prevent Hoggish Greedly and his sniveling sidekick Rigger from strip-mining for rubies and terrorizing the people. TV Log Listings: Thailand.

RAIN OF TERROR

Captain Planet and the Planeteers battle Verminous Skumm and his rat pack who threaten a city with a giant cloud of super acid rain. TV Log Listings: rain.

VOLCANO'S WRATH

Sly Sludge claims to have solved the world's trash problem, but is secretly dumping the garbage into a volcano on Laipuno Island. When the volcano erupts, Captain Planet and the Planeteers must save the islanders from a fiery destruction. TV Log Listings: Island

SKUMM LORD

Verminous Skumm contaminates the water supplies of South America with a germ-filled drink called "rat rot" that turns its victims into "rodent zombies." A rainforest medicine man tells the Planeteers about a rare plant that cures "rat rot," and they set out to find the plant amid the devastating destruction of the forests. TV Log Listings: America.

DEADLY RANSOM

Eco-villains Duke Nukem, Dr. Blight and MAL hold Captain Planet prisoner in Antarctica and demand that the Planeteers give them a lifetime supply of nuclear waste. TV Log Listings: hostage.

TREE OF LIFE

Dr. Blight and her robojacks chop down the "Tree of Life" and she taps the treeÕs extraordinary powers to become Super-Blight. With her new powers Blight will destroy the ancient redwood forests, unless Captain Planet and the Planeteers can stop her. TV Log Listings: forests.

A WORLD BELOW US

Sly Sludge's illegal toxic dumping operation is killing marine life and threatening the secret underwater city of Oceanus. Captain Planet and the Planeteers must race against time to save the people of this underwater paradise. TV Log Listings: city.

THE LITTLEST PLANETEER

Nine-year-old Jason teams up with the Planeteers to battle Dr. BlightÕs latest creation, a smog monster that feeds on air pollution. As the monster terrorizes an entire city, Jason learns what it really means to be a Planeteer. TV Log Listings: pollution.

THE CONQUEROR

The Planeteers are led astray by the promise of power from Zarm, a warlike Earth spirit. He tricks the Planeteers into disobeying Gaia and starting a sinister game that could lead to nuclear war and, ultimately, global destruction. TV Log Listings: Planeteers.

THE ULTIMATE POLLUTION

Looten Plunder instigates a war between two desert villages so that he can sell arms to both sides. When the Planeteers try to expose his scam, he captures them in a toxic trap. With bombs exploding around them, it is up to two young boys from the opposing villages to free the Planeteers and help stop the destruction. TV Log Listings: trap.

THE MELTDOWN SYNDROME

When a scientist tries to cover up a leak at a nuclear power plant, radioactive renegade Duke Nukem zeros in on the "hot spot" and triggers a meltdown reaction. With time running out, Captain Planet and the Planeteers must cool off the reactor before an explosion occurs and contaminates the planet. TV Log Listings: meltdown.

DON'T DRINK THE WATER

The eco-villains (Looten Plunder, Dr. Blight, Verminous Skumm and Hoggish Greedly) join forces in a plot to pollute the country's water supply. People are soon dying of thirst and Captain Planet and the Planeteers set out on a mission to find pure water and break up the "Pollution Syndicate." TV Log Listings: supply.

HEAT WAVE

Dr. Blight uses a smog-spewing barge and a huge dome to create a miniature greenhouse effect over Hope Island. With Gaia's life threatened, the Planeteers enlist the help of a giant whale to break free from Blight's heat wave and call Captain Planet. TV Log Listings: Island.

PLUNDER DAM

Looten Plunder dams an African river and installs a large hydroelectric power plant, leaving the villages downstream high and dry. The villagers soon realize that Plunder's electricity is not a fair trade for the food and water the river provided. With their crops wilting and thirst-crazed elephants on the rampage, they enlist the help of Captain Planet and the Planeteers to stop Plunder's scheme. TV Log Listings: water.

KWAME'S CRISIS

Sly Sludge is burying a small town under garbage and no one seems to care. Feeling he can't make a difference, Kwame leaves the Planeteers, but his faith is restored by a young girl's single-handed recycling effort, and with her help he attempts to save the Planeteers from Sludge's giant trash compactor. TV Log Listings: garbage.

SMOG HOG INVASION

Hoggish Greedly hijacks Jane Goodair's environmentally friendly automobile factory to manufacture his Road Hog, a smog-spewing nightmare. The city is soon choking on exhaust. When his own son falls ill from the pollution, Greedly must turn to Captain Planet and the Planeteers for help. TV Log Listings: vehicles.

MISSION TO SAVE EARTH PART I

The eco-villains steal the Planeteers' rings and abandon the Planeteers on the island of Commander Clash, a soldier with a cold war mentality. Clash appears to be their most dangerous opponent to date, until Captain Pollution shows up Ð summoned by the eco-villains after Dr. Blight creates evil duplicates of the Planeteers' rings. MISSION TO SAVE EARTH PART II

The Planeteers befriend Commander Clash and convince him to use his military skills in the battle to protect Earth. His first mission: To put a stop to the eco-villains looting and polluting and help the Planeteers recover their rings. Without their rings, the Planeteers can't call Captain Planet and they need him if the nefarious Captain Pollution is to be stopped. TV Log Listings: Pollution.

TWO FUTURES PART I

Wheeler's New Year's Eve party is ruined when the Planeteers are needed to prevent Dr. Blight and Hoggish Greedly from traveling back in time to speed up global warming. When an accident traps Wheeler in an ice cavern with Dr. Blight Ð Wheeler decides to use Blight's time machine to go back in time and stop himself from becoming a Planeteer. TWO FUTURES PART II

Traveling back in time so that he never becomes a Planeteer, Wheeler jeopardizes the survival of life on Earth. When Gaia gives him the chance to go into the future and see the consequences of his actions, Wheeler realizes how much he Ð and every individual Ð contributes to the future of our planet. But can he make it back in time and become a Planeteer again? TV Log Listings: Planeteers.
