GREENHOUSE PLANET

Dr. Blight cranks up the world's largest oil-fired power plant and convinces the president that global warming is nothing but an unproven theory. When the Planeteers try to get the president to shut down the plant, Blight shanghais him, along with Ma-Ti and Kwame, and sends them on a one-way journey into space. Will a trip to Venus, a true greenhouse planet, convince the president that global warming is more than just a lot of hot air? TV Log Listings: air.

A CREEP FROM THE DEEP

Sly Sludge has his best dumping operation ever ‚ a flotilla of barges hidden behind a cruise ship facade. There's only one problem. With all the transformers and toxic waste he's dumping, mutant fish are appearing, and when a squid the size of Godzilla decides to thrash the city, it's up to Captain Planet and the Planeteers to cancel its shore leave. THE DEADLY GLOW

Duke Nukem is hot on the trail of two missing capsules of radioactive cesium, used in medical treatment. But much to his dismay, two local kids beat him to the cesium, risking his radioactive rage and contamination of the whole city! Can Captain Planet and the Planeteers put the freeze on Nukem's overheated ambition and save the kids from dangerous radiation exposure? TV Log Listings: material.

A PERFECT WORLD

When the Planeteers tour Dr. Dawn Derek's computer-run "perfect world," they question the computer's ability to clean up potential eco-disasters. And when Dr. Blight and MAL infect the computer system with a deadly virus, Ma-Ti and Kwame must go inside the circuitry to get the bugs out ‚ with the help of Captain Planet, of course. Ultimately, Dr. Derek realizes that a computer can never replace the perfection of nature, and she turns the focus of her research to preserving the world we live in. TV Log Listings: eco-disasters.

THE DREAM MACHINE

A miraculous flying saucer-like machine appears just outside a simple farming village and offers the townspeople luxuries beyond their wildest dreams. But at what price?!? When the Planeteers show up, they learn that Zarm is behind a ploy to lure the villagers into a war over resources to feed their newfound desires. TV Log Listings: resources.

OK AT THE GUNFIGHT CORRAL

Hoggish Greedly and Sly Sludge collaborate on a grand scheme to go back in time and buy the Grand Canyon, so they can turn it into the world's biggest landfill! When the Planeteers find out, they flash back to the past for an Old West showdown. With Wheeler acting as their cowboy consultant, the Planeteers are in for a passel of trouble! BITTER WATERS

Looten Plunder convinces an Indian tribe that he can make the desert bloom and bring them lots of jobs and cash. But the Planeteers investigate and find that Plunder's irrigation scheme has been pumping too much water from the aquifier so he can make a quick profit and leave the tribe high and dry. It's up to the Planeteers and their friend Sky Runner to try and sink Plunder's plans, and show the tribal council that more sustainable development projects can be found. TV Log Listings: aquifer.

CANNED HUNT

The Planeteers take a well-deserved vacation on a cruise ship, but instead of relaxing, they end up following Trevor, a handsome big game hunter, to his next hunt. But the hunt turns out to be a cruel, inhumane slaughter of tame animals . . . a canned hunt! The Planeteers try to track the wild boar responsible, Hoggish Greedly, but end up caught and caged. And when Greedly clips Captain Planet's wings, the Planeteers must think fast to keep Cap from ending up on Greedly's trophy wall. TV Log Listings: animals.

IF IT'S DOOMSDAY, THIS MUST BE BELFAST

To prove that the human species will self-destruct and win a bet with Duke Nukem, Verminous Skumm plants stolen nukes in trouble spots around the globe, and gives triggers to both sides of warring factions in each area. Gaia sends the Planeteers to convince the feuding parties to give peace a chance ‚ but it takes her vision of a post-nuclear world to shock everyone into cooperating. But it may be too late when Skumm and Nukem decide to blow the situation out of proportion! TV Log Listings: world.

THE GUINEA PIGS

After a series of rabbit, monkey and dog nappings, Gaia sends the Planeteers to investigate. To their dismay, the Planeteers find themselves caught in the dilemma of animal testing, which pits one doctor against another. Unfortunately, the thieves' next victim is Suchi, and when the culprit turns out to be Dr. Blight, the Planeteers are in for an eye-opening experience. Will they end up as human guinea pigs in one of Blight's evil experiments? TV Log Listings: experiment.

HOG TIDE

Gaia recounts the story of how Don Porkaloin, Hoggish Greedly's "Godfather" grandpa, created coastal catastrophe in the 1940s by building his Decco developments too close to the ocean. The Planeteers are stunned to learn that they had 1940s counterparts who summoned Captain Planet to thwart Porkaloin's piggish plans, but Gaia mysteriously evades their questions. Could her tale be true or is she just pulling their legs? TV Log Listings: castastrophe.

NIGHT OF THE WOLF

Following a savage attack on his herd, rancher Lon Talbot blames the "Friends of Wolves" ‚ a group trying to reintroduce wolves to Yellowstone National Park. The Planeteers set out to unravel the mystery and find a monstrous metal "Robo-Wolf," compliments of Looten Plunder. But when the electronic beast blows a fuse, it's up to Captain Planet and the real wolves to keep the rampaging "Robo-Wolf" at bay. TV Log Listings: wild.

A FORMULA FOR HATE

When a high school basketball star tests positive for the HIV virus, Verminous Skumm seizes the opportunity to incite fear and panic in the boy's town. By spreading misinformation about AIDS, Skumm plans to create chaos and prevent people from learning the true facts about the disease. Can Captain Planet and the Planeteers crack this "formula for hate," and get the townspeople to listen to some straight talk about AIDS? TV Log Listings: town.
