To celebrate Adventure Time Live, Cartoon Network and Doughnut Time have teamed up to deliver the ultimate breakfast treat; the Bacon Pancake Doughnut!
“It’s Always Adventure Time” doughnut is made from maple glaze in Jake’s signature yellow, topped with hand-made sprinkles in Finn’s iconic colours & caramelised bacon pancake!
“It’s Always Adventure Time” Doughnuts will be sold in all Doughnut Time stores across Australia for a limited time from Thursday March 9.
The iconic Bacon Pancake song first made its debut in the fourth season of Adventure Time, with Jake singing the song while frying bacon on the stove. The song spawned a breakfast revolution, with Australian superstar Hugh Jackman lip-synching the song on Dubsmash and releasing it on his Instagram page. The episode has become the highest-rated show of the series to date, with over 3.5 million viewers tuning in when it aired.
John DiMaggio, the voice of Jake the Dog, will sing the song for fans at Adventure Time Live – an interactive, live audio-visual event featuring voice actors from the all-star cast of the hit Cartoon Network series. The fan experience will happen in Melbourne on March 10, Sydney on March 11 and Brisbane on March 12.
Also taking part in the three-city tour will be Jeremy Shada (the voice of Finn the Human), Olivia Olson (Marceline the Vampire) and Hynden Walch (Princess Bubblegum). Each event will feature a moderated discussion, live readings of classic scenes from the Emmy®-award winning series, audience Q&A with the cast as well as the screening of a never-before-seen episode of Adventure Time.
