Charlyne Yi - Voice of Chloe, We Bare Bears
Charlyne Yi is an actress, comedian, musician, painter and writer, who has performed in numerous shows at The Steve Allen Theatre and The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Los Angeles, HBO's U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado, The Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal and the Vancouver Comedy Festival, to name a few. In 2006, NBC Universal Television hired Charlyne to adapt her stage show, The Doo Doo Show, into a pilot to be co-written with Zach Paez that she Executive Produced with Steve Coogan. Her television appearances include 30 Rock (NBC), Miss Guided (ABC), Help Me, Help You (ABC) and Cold Case (CBS). Yi was also seen as Dr. Chi Park on the last season of House on FOX. Charlyne’s feature debut was opposite Seth Rogan and Kathryn Heigl in Knocked Up for Universal, directed by Judd Apatow. In 2009, she produced and starred alongside Michael Cera in Paper Heart, an independent feature about a girl looking for love. That year, the film was nominated for The Grand Jury Prize and won The Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award at The Sundance Film Festival. Charlyne also played a role in This Is 40 for Universal, directed by Judd Apatow. Daily Variety identified Charlyne as one of Comedy’s Ten to watch in 2008 and said her “surreal comedic vision is unlike anything else.” Charlyne currently lives in Los Angeles.
