Edgar Diniz

Edgar Diniz is senior vice president and general manager of sports for Turner Latin America.  Diniz is responsible for program planning and acquisitions, digital media, creative services, marketing, public relations and network operations for Turner’s sports offerings in Brazil, and leveraging sports-related opportunities for the Company across Latin America.

The networks that fall under his remit include Esporte Interativo, EI Maxx and EI Maxx 2.  He also manages the EI-branded digital offerings:; TV Everywhere subscription service EI Plus; and all social media presence.  In addition, Diniz runs the Copa do Nordeste e Copa Verde championships.

Diniz co-founded EI in 1999, and joined Turner upon the Company’s acquisition of EI in January 2015.  He is based in Rio de Janeiro and reports to Juan Carlos Urdaneta, president of Turner Latin America.
