Turner Sports and WME | IMG will debut ELEAGUE with live streaming coverage of the “Road to Vegas” Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Championship at CES in Las Vegas on Thursday, January 7, at 12:30 p.m. PST.  Two of the best CS:GO teams in the world – Lounge Gaming and OpTic Gaming (team members formerly part of Team Conquest) – will meet in a best-of-three championship round streamed live via the FaceIT Twitch Channel.  More than 1,100 teams competed in the qualifying round for a chance to make the “Road to Vegas” championship, with the winner receiving a prize pool and an invitation to participate in the inaugural ELEAGUE season, set to debut in Summer 2016.

OpTic Gaming (team members formerly part of Team Conquest, then the No. 18 world ranked CS:GO team) is a North American based team including Shahzeb “ShahZaM” Khan, Damian “daps” Steele, Will “RUSH” Wierzba, Keith “NAF-FLY” Markovic and Peter “stanislaw” Stanislaw.  The team earned a third place finish in the iBuyPower 2015 Fall Invitational and went on to also place third in both the CEVO-Professional S8 online season and the ESL ESEA Pro League season, earning a playoff spot in each.  Most recently, they won the goRGN Freedom Cup.

Lounge Gaming, currently ranked No. 49 in the world, is comprised of Pawel “innocent” Mocek, Michał “MICHU” Muller, Grzegorz “SZPERO” Dziamałek, Mikołaj “mouz” Karolewski, Oskar “oskarish” Stenborowski, all from Poland, and coached by Mariusz “Loord” Cybulski.  “innocent” has played Counter Strike (CS) for nearly 10 years and has competed in over 40 offline tournaments in the last four years.  He is currently IGL of the CSGL Team. “MICHU” has been playing CS since 2011 and is the lurker of the team. “SZPERO” has been a top-level CS player for eight years and is the team’s main AWPer.  “mouz” partners with “oskarish,” the rising star on the group, as entry fragger.  Coach “Loord” is one of the most successful CS players of all-time – as the winner of WCG 2006, 2009 and 2011 – and as a member of legendary Golden Five team, considered the best CS 1.6 lineup ever.
