ELEAGUE Season One Championship Weekend Previewed by On-Air Talent Richard Lewis, Jason “Moses” O’Toole and Duncan “Thorin” Shields

Semifinal Round on Friday, July 29, to Showcase Fnatic vs. Na’Vi at 5 p.m. ET on Twitch;
mousesports vs. Virtus Pro at 10 p.m. on TBS

TBS to Present Live Coverage of ELEAGUE Championship on Saturday, July 30, at 4 p.m.

ELEAGUE, the professional eSports organization created by Turner and WME | IMG, will culminate its first season with semifinal coverage set to begin Friday, July 29, at 5 p.m. ET from Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta.  Some of the world’s elite Counter-Strike :Global Offensive teams will be vying for a spot in the ELEAGUE Championship, to be held Saturday, July 30, at 4 p.m. on TBS.

Richard Lewis, Jason “Moses” O’Toole and Duncan “Thorin” Shields recap last weekend’s quarterfinals and preview tomorrow’s semifinals of season one in this video.

Thorin on Fnatic vs. Na’Vi: “I think Fnatic is the worst team for Na’Vi to play right now… I don’t think the guys playing for Na’Vi are confident playing against Fnatic.”

Moses on Na’Vi’s struggles coming into the weekend: “When you think of Na’Vi, they’re always described as a well-oiled machine; that tactical, strategic team that grinds you down.  They didn’t look anywhere near that level where they need to be to beat Fnatic [in last week’s quarterfinal victory].”

Moses on Virtus Pro’s momentum heading into the weekend: “I think Virtus Pro is hitting this really high peak right now.  It’s going to be very tough for anyone to overcome them in this entire tournament.”

Thorin on mousesports’ star: “There’s no one on Virtus Pro that match-for-match is the best player…but niko [of mousesports] can certainly be the best performer in this one and he can have a huge performance.”

In the weekend’s first semifinal, Fnatic will face off against Na’Vi at 5 p.m. with coverage available via Twitch.  Friday’s second semifinal match will feature mousesports vs. Virtus Pro at 10 p.m., with action televised live on TBS.

The semifinal winners will advance to the ELEAGUE Championship on Saturday, July 30, at 4 p.m. on TBS. Additionally, Twitch will provide alternative coverage of the second semifinal and championship match.
