Boomerang’s First Original Animated Series launches on Saturday 5th November at 8am on Boomerang
[London, UK]: Coming to a waterhole near you, a family of lovable, little blue animals are landing on Boomerang this November. Brand-new series The Happos Family premieres on Saturday the 5th at 8am on Boomerang and will join fan-favourites Wabbit, Be-Cool, Scooby Doo! The Tom & Jerry Show and Bunnicula, in a powerhouse comedic line-up that all the family will love.
The Happos Family follows a family of Happos who live in an enclosure in a European safari park. In the morning, the park is open to human visitors, who drive past the Happos, taking pictures of them wallowing in the mud, lazing by the pool and sleeping in the shade of the trees. However, when the last car races out of the safari park and the gates are shut to all visitors, the Happos wake up from their snoozing, jump out of the mud and get dressed up! It’s now their time for crazy, zany, Happo adventures.
Made up of 20 x 2 minute non-dialogue shorts, each episode centres on one of ten costumed Happos. From Astro Happo, dressed in a space suit, longing to fly to the moon, to Stunt Happo, dressed in a protective body suit and helmet attempting a daredevil feat, to Party Happo in a dance off with Ballerina and Bollywood Happo, each storyline features laugh-out-loud, slap stick comedy with lots of heart.
Don’t miss the premiere of brand-new series The Happos Family on Saturday the 5th November at 8am, only on Boomerang. New episodes will roll out every Saturday at 8am.
