Lorie McCarthy is senior vice president and general sales manager of Turner Sports, overseeing ad sales for properties such as NCAA March Madness, NBA, MLB and the PGA. Based in New York, she reports to Jon Diament, executive vice president of Turner Sports Ad Sales and Marketing.
McCarthy was previously worked with FOX (with prime time, kids and sports), BBDO as a vice president/media director and started her career with Lifetime Television.
In 2011, Lorie was selected as a Broadcasting & Cable “Women in the Game” executive, highlighting some of the industry’s top female executive talent. In addition, consistently year-over-year, Turner Sports Ad Sales finishes as one the top performing sales organizations among in the Annual Myers Survey of Advertising Executives on National Sales Organization Performance.
