MetroPCS Friday Night Knockout on truTV Returns Tomorrow, Friday, Dec. 11, at 10 p.m. ET

Coverage Highlighted by Two Title Fights, Including a 12-Round Bout for the Vacant WBO Junior Featherweight World Title

truTV and Top Rank will exclusively present MetroPCS Friday Night Knockout on truTV, a live prime time boxing series, Friday, December 11, at 10 p.m. ET from the Coliseo Roberto Clemente in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  The boxing series, produced in association with Turner Sports and HBO Sports, will feature two title bouts.

The night’s main event will showcase undefeated local San Juan product Felix “El Diamante” Verdejo (18-0, 13 KOs) defending his WBO Latino Lightweight Title against Brazil’s Josenilson Dos Santos (25-3, 15 KOs) in a 10-round bout.  In the telecast’s opening bout, No. 2 world ranked super bantamweight Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire (35-3, 23 KOs) of the Philippines takes on No. 1 world-rated contender Cesar Juarez (17-3, 13 KOs) of Mexico City, Mexico for the vacant WBO Junior Featherweight World Title in a 12-round bout.

Commentators for the event will include Kevin Kugler providing play-by-play with analysts Timothy Bradley and Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini and reporter Crystina Poncher.  Kugler is a veteran announcer who has called college basketball and NFL coverage for Westwood One and college football for the Big Ten Network.  Bradley is the two-time and current WBO welterweight champion and former WBO and two-time WBC junior welterweight champion.  Mancini is a 2015 International Boxing Hall of Fame inductee and former NABF and WBA lightweight champion.  Poncher is a commentator and reporter for Top Rank, as well as a host, reporter and correspondent for NFL Network and
