NBA TV’s Free Agent Fever to Highlight Extensive Studio Coverage of NBA Free Agency Period

Network to Present Live Free Agency Programming Beginning Thursday, June 30
NBA TV will offer around-the-clock coverage of this year’s highly anticipated NBA free agency period with live studio programming and up-to-the-minute reports starting Thursday, June 30, the eve of NBA free agency. The network’s programming schedule will include Free Agent Fever, a live multi-set studio show utilizing a deep roster of commentators, as well as special editions of The Starters and NBA GameTime.
Free Agent Fever will debut with a preview show starting Thursday, June 30, at 7:30 p.m. ET, counting down to the start of free agency with the night ending with a live hour-long show at 11:30 p.m. On the first day of free agency – Friday, July 1 – live programming will include a Free Agent Fever episode at 8 a.m., updates throughout the morning and live studio coverage from 2-11:30 p.m.
A combination of NBA TV commentators including Stu Jackson, Mike Fratello, Dennis Scott and Steve Smith, along with guest analysts Billy King, Ronny Thompson and Brendan Haywood, will offer their perspectives. Hosts Vince Cellini, Kristen Ledlow, Rick Kamla, Jared Greenberg and Casey Stern will anchor the network’s coverage. Additional contributors throughout the week will include reporters David Aldridge, Sekou Smith and Lang Whitaker, and The Starters’ J.E. Skeets, Tas Melas, Trey Kerby and Leigh Ellis. The Starters will also preview free agency with a special show on Thursday, June 30, at 7 p.m.
NBA TV’s free agency-focused coverage will continue through the end of the week with Free Agent Fever recapping the second day of free agency on Saturday, July 2, at 7 p.m., and NBA GameTime shows on Saturday and Sunday, July 3, at 11 p.m. The network’s daily live game coverage of summer league, beginning July 2, will also include updates on free agency and the latest news and analysis from around the league.
NBA.com and the league’s signature NBA App will also provide comprehensive news coverage throughout the entire free agency period.
