NBA TV’s Upcoming Original Programming Lineup to Feature All-New Episodes of Beyond the Paint, 3D TV, High Tops and Inside Stuff

Live Game Coverage Includes Warriors, Spurs, Rockets & Celtics in Action
NBA TV’s upcoming original programming lineup will feature an all-new episode of Beyond the Paint, the network’s monthly magazine-style show, on Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 11 p.m. ET, in addition to the season premiere of 3D TV and all-new episodes of High Tops and Inside Stuff on Saturday, Dec. 3, beginning at Noon.
The network will also showcase four live game telecasts over four days, including an inter-conference doubleheader on Monday, Dec. 5, and Fan Night on Tuesday, Dec. 6. Game coverage will begin Saturday, Dec. 3, with the Denver Nuggets and Danilo Gallinari visiting the Utah Jazz and Gordon Hayward at 9 p.m.
NBA TV’s Live Game Schedule
In addition to Saturday night’s Nuggets/Jazz match-up, NBA TV’s upcoming game schedule will include:
- Boston vs. Houston (8 p.m.) & Indiana vs. Golden State (10:30 p.m.) on Monday, Dec. 5 - An NBA TV inter-conference doubleheader will showcase the Celtics and Al Horford vs. the Rockets and James Harden, followed by the Warriors and Stephen Curry hosting the Pacers and Paul George
- San Antonio vs. Minnesota, Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 8 p.m. – Fan Night will showcase the Spurs and Kawhi Leonard visiting the Timberwolves and Karl-Anthony Towns
Beyond the Paint Remembers the Late Bobby Phills – Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 11 p.m.
Beyond the Paint, in conjunction with NCAA.com, will remember late Charlotte Hornets forward Bobby Phills as the 17-year anniversary of his passing approaches in a new episode on Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 11 p.m. In the feature, Phills’ widow, Kendall, son, Trey, and daughter, Kerstie, explore how they were able to endure and move forward in the wake of Bobby’s death. Following in their Father’s basketball footsteps, Trey is currently a sophomore guard at Yale University and Kerstie is a freshman guard at Wagner College.
Additionally, Phoenix Suns second-year standout Devin Booker’s friendship with fan Jenna Warren will be profiled by host Matt Winer. Booker's bond with the 17-year old – a season ticket holder with Down's Syndrome – included a trip to New York for the 2016 Draft Lottery, when Warren was Booker's good luck charm. Their friendship has continued this season, as Booker’s family members from Michigan met Jenna on Opening Night.
With the Heisman Trophy ceremony coming soon, former winner & New York Knicks point guard Charlie Ward will also be featured. Ward is coaching his son in football in Pensacola, Florida, teaching much more than wins and losses as he tries to mold young men. Shaun Powell shares this story.
Season Premiere of 3D TV & New Episode of High Tops to Air Saturday, Dec. 3, at Noon
The season premiere of 3D TV, hosted by former Orlando Magic sharpshooter and network analyst Dennis Scott will air Saturday, Dec. 3, at 12:30 p.m., following December’s installment of High Tops: Plays of the Month, hosted by NBA TV’s Brent Barry at Noon.
On 3D TV, Scott will catch up with Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard as the duo talks about Lillard’s music career. NBA single-season three-point record holder and reigning league MVP Stephen Curry will also join Scott for the “Shooter’s Paradise” segment, where the league’s top marksmen chat about their craft and technique.
Inside Stuff to Air Saturday, Dec. 3, at 6:30 p.m.
This week’s all-new episode of Inside Stuff will see co-host Grant Hill spending time with several of the exciting Los Angeles Lakers – Brandon Ingram and Larry Nance, Jr., on Saturday, Dec. 3, at 6:30 p.m. The young teammates play knockout with Hill and talk about the team’s developing chemistry and competitive start to the season.
Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum will also be featured in the episode, as he recently unveiled a ‘Dream Center’ at the Boys & Girls Club in Portland to help inspire area youths with educational tools. The show will visit with Clippers’ center DeAndre Jordan in a feature called Playlist that goes in-depth with Jordan on his favorite pre-game music, food and fashion. Jam Session will showcase “Get Up” by Culture Republic artist Nick Grant Feat. Watch the Duck.
10 Before Tip and The Starters to Air Daily Episodes, Monday-Friday
The network’s half-hour 10 Before Tip studio show will continue to offer news, notes and the latest updates for what fans need to know leading up to tip-off. Hosted by Jared Greenberg, the show will include guests from around the league, including reporters, on-air personalities and fantasy experts, airing regularly at 6:30 p.m.
NBA TV’s The Starters, the daily 30-minute studio show that recaps the most entertaining moments from around the NBA, is co-hosted by J.E. Skeets and Tas Melas, along with Trey Kerby and Leigh Ellis with new episodes airing Monday-Friday, regularly at 7 p.m.
