NBA TV To Showcase Expansive Slate of 19 Live Games This Holiday Season, Starting with Warriors vs. Trail Blazers, Saturday, Dec. 17, at 10:30 p.m. ET

Network to Air New Episode of Inside Stuff on Saturday, Dec. 17, at 6:30 p.m. & Shaqtin’ A Fool on Monday, Dec. 19, at 11 p.m.

10 Before Tip Week-Long Road Trip, Dec. 26-30, Daily at 6:30 p.m.

NBA TV’s upcoming live game schedule will feature 19 games in 18 days this holiday season, beginning with the Golden State Warriors with Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant taking on the Portland Trail Blazers with Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum on Saturday, Dec. 17, at 10:30 p.m. ET.

On Sunday, Dec. 18, the network’s signature studio show GameTime will begin airing at 6:30 p.m. and cut-in with live looks at Tim Duncan’s No. 21 jersey retirement by the San Antonio Spurs that evening, with analysis and commentary from former teammate and NBA TV analyst Brent Barry and fellow analyst Rick Fox.

Holiday programming will also include Courtside Cinema on NBA TV – basketball films and documentaries –  highlighted by Hoosiers, airing Saturday, Dec. 17, at 2:30 p.m.

NBA TV’s Live Game Schedule

In addition to Saturday night’s Trail Blazers/Warriors game, NBA TV’s upcoming game schedule will feature seven doubleheaders, including three Fan Nights, and multiple appearances by some of the league’s top teams and players:

  • Tuesday, Dec. 20 – San Antonio vs. Houston at 8 p.m.; Utah vs. Golden State at 10:30 p.m.

Fan Night will feature a Western Conference doubleheader with the Spurs and Kawhi Leonard visiting in-state rival Rockets and James Harden, followed by the Warriors and Curry hosting the Jazz and Gordon Hayward

  • Wednesday, Dec. 21 – Milwaukee vs. Cleveland at 7 p.m.; Dallas vs. Portland at 10 p.m.

The Bucks and Giannis Antetokounmpo will visit the Cavaliers and LeBron James, followed by the Mavericks and Harrison Barnes taking on the Trail Blazers and Lillard

  • Friday, Dec. 23 – Oklahoma City vs. Boston at 7:30 p.m.; Dallas vs. L.A. at 10:30 p.m.

The Thunder and Russell Westbrook will meet the Celtics and Isaiah Thomas, followed by the Mavericks and Wesley Matthews against the Clippers and Chris Paul

  • Monday, Dec. 26 – Indiana vs. Chicago at 8 p.m.; Denver vs. L.A. at 10:30 p.m.

The Pacers and Paul George will battle with division rival Bulls and Jimmy Butler, and the Nuggets and Wilson Chandler face the Clippers and Blake Griffin

  • Tuesday, Dec. 27 – Oklahoma City vs. Miami at 7:30 p.m.; Utah vs. Los Angeles at 10:30 p.m.

Fan Night will be highlighted by the Thunder and Westbrook visiting the Heat and Goran Dragic, with the Jazz and Rudy Gobert taking on the Lakers and D’Angelo Russell in the nightcap

  • Wednesday, Dec. 28 – L.A. vs. New Orleans at 8 p.m.; Toronto vs. Golden State at 10:30 p.m.

The Clippers and DeAndre Jordan will face the Pelicans and Anthony Davis, followed by the Raptors and DeMar DeRozan visiting the Warriors and Durant

  • Tuesday, Jan. 3 – Utah vs. Boston at 7:30 p.m.; Memphis vs. Los Angeles at 10:30 p.m.

Fan Night will feature the Jazz and Hayward vs. the Celtics and Al Horford, followed by the Grizzlies and Marc Gasol vs. the Lakers and Julius Randle

Additional game highlights include two appearances each by the Timberwolves with Karl-Anthony Towns (Monday, Dec. 19 vs. Phoenix and Friday, Dec. 30 vs. Milwaukee), Bucks with Antetokounmpo (Friday, Dec. 30 vs. Minnesota and Saturday, Dec. 31 vs. Chicago) and Bulls with Butler (Saturday, Dec. 31 vs. Milwaukee and Monday, Jan. 2 vs. Charlotte).

All-New Inside Stuff Episode to Air Saturday, Dec. 17, at 6:30 p.m.

This week’s all-new episode of Inside Stuff will feature Portland Trail Blazers NBA All-Star Lillard with NBA TV reporter Dennis Scott on Saturday, Dec. 17, at 6:30 p.m.  They talk about basketball along with Lillard’s rap career and his latest album – The Letter O.  Additionally, co-host Grant Hill catches up with Jazz veteran forward Boris Diaw, who teaches Hill some French while the former Suns teammates also talk about Diaw’s on-court versatility.

In Saturday’s episode, Inside Stuff asks current players including Klay Thompson, Kyrie Irving, Butler and Jordan to build the “perfect” player by taking individual attributes from players around the league.  To celebrate the holidays, Curry, Towns and J.J. Redick share their thoughts on giving back to the community and what the holiday season means to them.  Jam Session will showcase music from the new Stars Wars movie – Rogue One.

Shaqtin’ a Fool to Debut “The Shaqademic Decathlon” on Monday, Dec. 19, at 11 p.m.

The NBA’s funniest on-court moments are showcased in the monthly 30-minute show, hosted by Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal, who will be joined by co-host Scott and special guests Tony Rock and Ro Parrish for December’s installment, premiering Monday, Dec. 19, at 11 p.m.  For the first time in Shaqtin’ a Fool history, a gameshow – “The Shaqademic Decathlon” – will test O’Neal’s knowledge of the show against Scott and Rock.

10 Before Tip & The Starters to Air Daily Episodes, Monday-Friday

The network’s half-hour 10 Before Tip studio show will continue to offer news, notes and the latest updates for what fans need to know leading up to tip-off.  Hosted by Jared Greenberg, the show will embark on a five-city road trip, Dec. 26-30, airing live on-site episodes from Chicago, Miami, Atlanta, Cleveland and Houston daily at 6:30 p.m.  The show regularly features guests from around the league, including reporters, on-air personalities and fantasy experts.

NBA TV’s The Starters, the daily 30-minute studio show that recaps the most entertaining moments from around the NBA, is co-hosted by J.E. Skeets and Tas Melas, along with Trey Kerby and Leigh Ellis.  The special Best of 2016 episode will premiere on Monday, Dec. 26 at 7 p.m.
