NBA TV turns back the clock as a panel of NBA greats discuss their top players from the past five decades (1960-2000s) in a new episode of Open Court airing Tuesday, October 13, at 9:30 p.m. ET. Host Ernie Johnson moderates the discussion in an hour-long episode featuring the insights and opinions of TNT and NBA TV analysts Shaquille O’Neal, Isiah Thomas, Reggie Miller, Grant Hill, Brent Barry, Steve Smith and Dennis Scott.
Members of the panel share memories from their playing days as well as reflections on watching the NBA’s top stars from the 1960s and 1970s. Thomas shares his opinion that Magic Johnson was the best point guard to ever play the game, while others discuss their respect and admiration for legends such as Bill Russell, Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Julius ‘Dr. J’ Erving, Larry Bird, Hakeem Olajuwon and more.
