NCAA.com Final Four Apps Feature Comprehensive Local Information for Fans Attending the NCAA Final Four Events in Indianapolis & Tampa Bay

NCAA.com, managed by Turner Sports and the NCAA, has unveiled Final Four apps with comprehensive local event information for fans attending the NCAA Men’s Final Four in Indianapolis and the NCAA Women’s Final Four in Tampa Bay, Fla. Both apps feature detailed local information on the respective venues, attractions, restaurants, news, social features and more.

The completely redesigned Men’s Final Four app – NCAA® Final Four® Indianapolis presented by AT&T – includes enhanced navigation, broader social integration, a trivia challenge, location-based alerts and local explore options for restaurants, attractions and more. The app is available for free beginning today, Monday, March 30, via the App Store and Google Play.

For fans on site, NCAA Final Four Indianapolis presented by AT&T will serve as a pocket guide for those attending events in the city with schedule information, interactive maps, news, concert lineups, ticket information, and social features. 

Additionally, for fans attending the Women’s Final Four in Tampa Bay, the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship app will provide Women’s Final Four event details for local attendees including fan gathering locations, venue information, restaurants, tickets, news and more. National semifinal games will be played April 5, with the national championship decided on April 7 at Amalie Arena.  The app – already available for download via the App Store and Google Play – features a live bracket, scoring and game schedules, photo galleries, social feeds and more.

This year’s Men’s Final Four National Semifinals on Saturday, April 4, will be televised on TBS along with team-specific telecasts airing on TNT and truTV.  The National Championship on Monday, April 6, will air on CBS. NCAA March Madness® Live™ will also offer live streaming of the National Semifinals from all three vantage points, along with the National Championship.

Features for the NCAA Final Four Indianapolis presented by AT&T app:

·       AT&T Tourney Trivia – a trivia challenge that allows fans to test their NCAA March Madness knowledge for a chance to win College Basketball Hall of Famer and NBA All-Star Shaquille O’Neal autographed merchandise and other prizes;

·       Customized Daily Event Schedule – providing fans with directions, maps and lists of all of the weekend’s festivities including Final Four Fan Fest presented by Capital One, March Madness Music Festival™ and more; while allowing fans to “Like” and “Save” events to create a customized schedule;

·       Explore Indianapolis – venue specific information, along with details on fan gatherings, local restaurants and merchandise outlets in the city;

·       Location Based Alerts – relevant information alerts to help fans as they travel around Indianapolis.

In addition to the Final Four app, NCAA.com will continue to provide exclusive March Madness content throughout the Final Four via NCAA March Madness Live as well as editorial coverage, score updates, real-time game highlights, post-game photo galleries, press conferences and more.
