Susana Zepeda Cagan Joins Turner as Vice President of Talent for Turner Classic Movies & FilmStruck

Susana Zepeda Cagan has been named vice president of talent for Turner Classic Movies (TCM) & FilmStruck. In this role, Zepeda will lead all talent recruitment and development for both TCM and FilmStruck, as well as oversee all talent relations responsibilities including brand-related talent management and appearances, talent ideation for all programming and brand initiatives, and creating new business opportunities for the brands built around talent. Zepeda Cagan is based in Los Angeles and reports to Pola Changnon, senior vice president of marketing, brand creative and talent for TCM & FilmStruck.

“Susana’s tenure in the entertainment industry, fantastic industry relationships, and keen eye for new and creative ways to bring top-tier talent into the fold make her a perfect fit for this position,” said Changnon. “Her background as a producer is incredibly beneficial to this role as she works to grow and develop the TCM and FilmStruck brands by forging and implementing strategic talent initiatives.”

Zepeda Cagan previously served as head of talent and studio relations for NBCU’s Fandango, where she oversaw internal & external talent relationships led the negotiation of all talent deals.  Zepeda began her career at Fandango in 2012 as the senior director of video development and production where she led creative development and production for series and talent development, managed studio and network partnerships, as well as sponsorship proposals and implementation.

Prior to Fandango, Zepeda Cagan served as the head of creative for Disney Interactive Media Group and as a development executive with several filmmakers including Martin Scorsese and Barbara DeFina’s Cappa Films, Ralph Winter’s Winter Road Productions, and the Ed Feldman Company.
