As Turner continues to advance its ad capabilities and data strategy in an effort to provide industry-leading solutions to clients and consumers, the company announced today that Amit Chaturvedi has been named senior vice president of Revenue Operations and Platforms. Within that capacity, Chaturvedi will lead a new, cross-functional and multi-disciplinary team that oversees the delivery and execution of ad sales revenue across the entire portfolio of premium linear and digital properties. Based in New York, Chaturvedi reports to Stephano Kim, executive vice president of digital strategy and operations/chief data strategist for Turner.
Under Kim’s leadership within the past year, Turner has made meaningful advancements in the advertising space fuelled by data. The company enhanced its data infrastructure and capabilities through the launch of Turner Data Cloud, its advanced data management platform (DMP) designed to power digital and linear advertising campaigns portfolio-wide. In an effort to be a critical resource to its business partners, Turner also brought to market new audience-based and insights-led ad solutions, such as AudienceNOW and Provable ROI, in addition to social monetization opportunities like Launchpad that better enable marketers to reach the right audience, with the right content.
“Amit will lead Turner’s continued commitment to explore new technologies, data and applications to ensure our company growth as ad innovators, as well as build a world class digital operation powered for excellence,” said Kim. “We have made significant progress expanding within this space to drive results for our client partners, and Amit’s digital and operational expertise will greatly build on this momentum.”
Prior to joining Turner, Chaturvedi held nearly two decades of leadership experience running ad sales, product management and development, marketing, operations, and business and corporate development teams. He served in senior management capacity at leading publicly traded companies (aQuantive and IAC/InterActiveCorp), as well as held the role of chief operating officer for several venture-backed companies in the ad tech, mobile, social, healthcare and e-commerce spaces. Most recently, Chaturvedi was the chief operating officer of Taykey, a leading provider of trend-based audience solutions for marketers.
Chaturvedi earned his bachelor’s degree from New York University and completed graduate work at UC Berkeley Haas School of Business with a focus on strategic planning and product management.
