TURNER & THE MAJ GROUP TO OPEN CARTOON NETWORK ENTERTAINMENT PARK IN BALI

- Indonesia’s first ever internationally-branded park set for 2020 unveil - 

(HONG KONG) June 6, 2018 – Turner Asia Pacific has announced a licensing partnership with Indonesian real-estate and hospitality investment company, The MAJ Group, to develop a 4.3-hectare entertainment park in Bali. The family destination will feature the island’s largest waterpark and an indoor entertainment centre – all splashed with Cartoon Network theming and unique sense of fun.

TURNER APPOINTS NEW COUNTRY MANAGER FOR PHILIPPINES

(MANILA, PHILIPPINES) May 16, 2018 – Turner Asia Pacific has announced the appointment of Jia Salindong-Du as Country Manager, Philippines.

Ms Salindong-Du is tasked with scaling Turner’s Kids and Entertainment business in the Philippines, which includes developing local content opportunities, creating greater consumer experiences and expanding the brands’ fanbase. She will also support ad-sales, and operate in tandem with the consumer products and licensing team for Cartoon Network.

HONG KONG (July 3, 2017) – Turner Asia Pacific is partnering with Qualson, the leading Korean mobile product developer, to launch a new app that enables users of different ages to make learning English fun through Cartoon Network’s shows and characters.

Targeted for launch in October in South Korea with subsequent rollout plans for other Asian markets including Japan, Taiwan and Southeast Asia, the subscription model app will target both kids and adults who want to improve their fluency in both listening and speaking English.
