Turner Ad Sales has elevated Todd Braverman to the leadership role of senior vice president, portfolio sales and client partnerships. A new role developed out of Donna Speciale’s realignment in December, Braverman reports to Joe Hogan, executive vice president, portfolio sales and client partnerships, Turner Ad Sales.
“Todd has exemplified all that is representative of our sales leadership division, a deep understanding and enthusiasm for the brands that he represents, thought leadership and an inclusive approach to his work,” said Hogan. “He will excel in this role, and our partners will benefit from his passion for developing strategic partnerships that drive strong results for their brands.”
Previously vice president and sales manager of the Turner Emerging Consumers sales division, Braverman oversaw client relationships for Turner’s Adult Swim, Boomerang, Cartoon Network and truTV multi-screen brands. Within this role, he had a specialized focus on Adult Swim and truTV where he served as the sales division’s brand ambassador, acting as liaison between the network and sales division. Braverman joined Turner in 2008 as an account executive within the same sales division.
Prior to joining Turner, Braverman gained several years of sales experience at Gemstar TV Guide. His roles included sales manager, leading the broadband, VOD and interactive businesses; and account executive within the integrated media group. He started his career as a media buyer at Grey Advertising.
Braverman earned a bachelor of arts and science degree from the University of Virginia. In addition to his academic studies, he was the starting place-kicker on the university’s football team during his junior and senior years, and excelled as a member of the All-ACC Academic Honor Role.
