Summer of Darkness

Turner Classic Movies (TCM) is returning to the shadowy world of film noir with the return Summer of Darkness, the network's ultimate film noir programming event.  The summer programming event beings June 5 at 6 a.m. and airs for 24 hours on Fridays in June and July with primetime screenings hosted by Eddie Muller, known to classic film fans as “The Czar of Noir” and as a frequent TCM contributor, introducing noir films on-air and at the TCM Classic Film Festival.

Tiffany Vazquez

Tiffany Vazquez is the Saturday Daytime host of Turner Classic Movies. She joined TCM in May 2016, becoming the third host hired in the network’s history. Born in Bronx, New York and raised in Queens, Vazquez holds two graduate degrees, one from Saint John’s University in international communications and the other from New York University in cinema studies having interned at the Film Society of Lincoln Center. In 2014 Vazquez entered and won TCM's 20th Anniversary Ultimate Fan Contest, flying to Atlanta to introduce a film of her choice on-air with Robert Osborne.

Pola Changnon

Pola Changnon is senior vice president of marketing, creative and brand for Turner Classic Movies (TCM). In this role, she oversees brand management, creative vision and design, as well as strategic marketing for TCM and FilmStruck. Changnon is responsible for the development of strategic, integrated marketing and social media plans and leads the creation of all image and design of experiential elements, products, premiums and marketing for TCM’s brand extensions such as the TCM Classic Film Festival, TCM Backlot, TCM’s official fan-club, and the TCM Wine Club.

Movies Condemned

TCM will present Condemned, an expansive, 27-film programming event that will delve into the story of the organization (The Catholic Legion of Decency) that dedicated itself to protecting American audiences from “objectionable” content and explore the impact the legion had on how movies were ultimately produced and edited to avoid being labeled. Programming begins Thursday, March 3 at 8 p.m. and airs every Thursday throughout March with primetime screenings hosted by Sister Rose Pacatte, member of The Daughters of St. Paul, founding director of the Pauline Center for Media Studies and celebrated film reviewer.
