ESPORTE INTERATIVO HITS 100 MILLION INTERACTIONS ON SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS
EI registered more than 100 million interactions in August among fans that follow the brand’s pages on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. The pages, which already have leadership positions among media groups and sports profiles in Brazil and worldwide, hit an historical peak last month when soccer superstar Neymar was introduced on his new team, Paris Saint Germain.
Especially important to EI’s fantastic showing was growth on Instagram. The EI team has been rejiggering programming production to appeal to Instagram users, which paved the way to the robust results. The quality of images on Instagram, along with the engagement on Facebook and Twitter, also helped grow EI’s base of engaged fans.
