What does it take to survive and thrive at the top?
October 25, this challenging question was the entry to a candid conversation at Time Warner Women's Leadership: Unscripted, an internal event hosted for executive women from across Time Warner.
The evening's three sessions delivered on its "unscripted" promise, beginning with a featured up-close-and-personal, wide-ranging keynote by Sheila Nevins, HBO's Emmy-winning President of Documentary Films, followed by an in-depth conversation with three female executives: Priya Dogra, SVP Mergers and Acquisitions at Time Warner; Lauren Hurvitz, EVP and Global Chief Communications and Corporate Marketing Officer for Turner; and Marissa Ronca, EVP and Head of Programming at TruTV. The panel was moderated by Lisa Garcia Quiroz, President of the Time Warner Foundation and SVP, Chief Diversity Officer of Time Warner, Inc.
Each of the evening's speakers highlighted the themes of work-life balance, authority and sacrifice, and leadership balanced with traditional workplace dynamics.
The evening concluded with a networking and cocktail reception, at which the executives were able to go truly unscripted and share their experiences as women in the workplace with colleagues from across the company.
