Turner brings art + science to CES 2018

As part of its mission to create compelling content that blends art and science, Turner will take its innovations to a global stage with its presence at CES 2018. The company will showcase a variety of offerings at the tech-focused event – including executive speakers, premium content and live experiences. The conference will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, January 9-12.

CES is the world’s largest gathering for those interested in the intersection between business and consumer technologies. For 50 years, it has offered a platform for pioneers and the next generation of innovations that will inspire the marketplace. The largest hands-on event of its kind, CES features technology from all parts of the industry. 

Below are the highlights from Turner’s involvement.

CES SPORTS ZONE PRESENTED BY TURNER SPORTS | Turner Sports expands its presence to include the first-ever four-day showcase. It will also program the Sports Business Innovation conference track, including panel discussions, a live ELEAGUE showcase and a live broadcast of Inside the NBA.

CMO PANEL (Tuesday, January 9) | Molly Battin (CMO/CCO, Turner) participates in a panel on the Storyteller Stage.

C-SPACE STUDIO INTERVIEWS | Interviews include Doug Shapiro (Chief Strategy Officer, Turner), Craig Barry (CCO, Turner Sports) and David Levy (President, Turner). They will tape on-site and will air post-CES.

BUSINESS INSIDER CONTENT PARTNERSHIP | Turner partners with Business Insider to feature interviews with Turner executives on-site to run during and post-CES, including John Martin (Chairman & CEO, Turner), David Levy (President, Turner), Lenny Daniels (President, Turner Sports), and Shaquille O’Neal.

AD SALES C-SPACE in Aria Wedding Chapel | Turner Ad Sales will advance current relationships and build new ones in a less formal meeting and presentation format. Held in the Aria Wedding Chapel within C-Space, we will highlight our commitment to the future with a roadmap that demonstrates key solutions and engagements with not only the industry but our fans.

TURNER ART INSTALLATION outside the Aria Wedding Chapel (the location of this year’s ad sales meetings) | MARKERS features the world premiere of the ArtBots, a robotic graffiti platform created by artist Scott Peterman. Over the course of CES 2018, these ArtBots will create one of the largest robotically executed murals ever attempted, celebrating Turner's unique ability to connect with fans through a massive piece of fan art. Trending topics and fan imagery will be sourced from social media and included throughout the week on the art installation.
