Turner mansion gets ‘LIT’ for Atlanta Pride

The Turner campus illuminated with colors of the rainbow Monday evening, following a first-of-its kind lighting at the Turner mansion on the Techwood campus in Atlanta. The lighting was reminiscent of the White House brightening its façade in rainbow colors in 2015, following the historic landmark Supreme Court ruling allowing same-sex marriage.

The mansion lighting kicks off events leading up to the annual Atlanta Pride parade this Sunday. Turner is committed to fostering an environment of inclusion and diversity, along with staff and content that is reflective of the world we live in.

Danette Johnson, vice president, Inclusion & Diversity, Human Resources attended Monday night’s event. “It’s the first time in our company’s history that we’ve done such a thing. The colors reflect the diversity within the LGBTQ community and certainly mirror the inclusive culture and mindset we continue to build here at Turner. I couldn’t be prouder to work here.”
