Turner Sports’ 2017 NBA All-Star Experience a Slam Dunk

Turner Sports is known to deliver premium live sports experiences for its fans, and this year’s wall-to-wall coverage of NBA All-Star 2017 was no exception. Our 32nd year of coverage was highlighted by more than 45 hours of programming across TNT, TBS, NBA TV, NBA.com and social media platforms.

Turner also took it a step further this year, hosting the “NBA on TNT Road Show” which provided unprecedented, immersive experiences including basketball clinics, pop-up stores and food trucks for fans on-site in New Orleans.  The “NBA on TNT Road Show” also included live studio shows and performances by multi-platinum hip-hop artist Travis Scott and international music superstar Pitbull.

For those who couldn’t attend, Turner deployed #AllStarGram series on Instagram as a way to showcase some of the top moments from the weekend, including behind-the-scenes happenings.  Whether on-site or not, fans responded! The NBA All-Star Game averaged 7.8 million total viewers  -  the most-watched All-Star Game coverage since 2013.  Combined with the State Farm All-Star Saturday Night telecast, Turner networks delivered the top two most-viewed sports programs of the week across all of television.
