Turner wins 14 Creative Emmy Awards

Turner is proud to announce that its portfolio of networks including TNT, TBS, CNN, Adult Swim and Cartoon Network generated a combined total of 14 wins at the 70th annual Emmy® Awards.

CNN took home a network record of eight total awards, including the fifth Emmy for Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown in the Outstanding Informational Series category, as well as the second consecutive win in the Unstructured Reality Program category for United Shades of America with W. Kamau Bell. Turner’s Cartoon Network and Adult Swim owned the Outstanding Animated Short-Form category, with Adult Swim’s Robot Chicken special taking home the win. TBS’s Full Frontal with Samantha Bee garnered its second consecutive nomination as the only female-fronted nominee in the history of the Outstanding Variety Talk Series category. Turner’s 33 total nominations for 2018 was a 57% increase from the 21 nominations last year.
