Anke Greifeneder

Anke Greifeneder is VP Original Productions EMEA and spearheads the development, creation and production of general entertainment originals across the EMEA region with particular focus on Germany, Spain and France. She is also responsible for exploring opportunities for collaboration with WarnerMedia sister companies.

Based in Munich, she joined Turner in 2007 as Director Programming Kids & Entertainment channels for the German-speaking territories and after a number of roles was most recently Director Original Productions, Central & Eastern Europe, responsible for Turner's original productions in CEE, including the Berlin gangster series 4 Blocks (TNT Serie), the comedy noir Arthur’s Law and the mockumentary Other Parents (both TNT Comedy).

Greifeneder was awarded a Grimme-Preis for mystery drama The Valley and dramedy Add a Friend, both TNT series produced in Germany. The co-produced cybercrime drama Hackerville was recently also awarded the prestigious German TV-award and 4 Blocks has won numerous national and international awards to date.

Before joining Turner Greifeneder worked for MTV, Viva and Comedy Central, among others; and is also a successful author.

She studied Law in Konstanz and is fluent in German and English.
