Giorgio Stock

Giorgio Stock is president of Turner EMEA. He has executive oversight of all kids and entertainment networks, digital and media services of core brands such as Cartoon Network, Boomerang, TNT and TCM;  the distribution of CNN’s services,  and licensing and merchandising activity in Europe, the Middle East and Africa as well as overseeing an aligned approach to the collective international licensing and merchandising business in close collaboration with the regional heads.  Kids and entertainment brands in the region include Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Cartoonito, Boing, adult swim, Toonami, Warner TV, TCM and TNT, as well as kids streaming service Toonix, available direct-to-consumer and via a partnership with HBO Nordic.

Stock joined the company in April 2013 after a diverse 15-year career with Disney where he held publishing and content leadership roles out of Paris, New York, Milan and London overseeing television, publishing, music and gaming. His last assignment was as EVP and MD of Disney’s newly formed retail division following its acquisition of Marvel, where his remit included EMEA oversight of consumer products, Disney Stores and all digital and physical retail initiatives.

Stock started his career in media in corporate strategy with Bertelsmann AG in Germany.
