Sunday MLB on TBS Continues with Full National Telecast San Francisco Giants vs. Chicago Cubs Sunday, Aug. 9, at 2 p.m. ET

Sunday MLB on TBS will continue August 9 at 2 p.m. ET with a full national telecast featuring a match-up of National League postseason contenders as the defending World Series Champion San Francisco Giants and former NL MVP Buster Posey visit the Chicago Cubs and young stars Anthony Rizzo, Kris Bryant and NL Cy Young contender Jake Arrieta. Brian Anderson will provide play-by-play, joined by Hall of Famer Cal Ripken, Jr. in the broadcast booth. 

In a third consecutive full national telecast featuring postseason contenders, the New York Mets will host the Pittsburgh Pirates and five-time All-Star Andrew McCutchen on August 16 at 1 p.m.  Veteran MLB on TBS analyst Ron Darling will join Anderson on the call.

Live streaming coverage of all regular season MLB on TBS games is available via and the Watch TBS app.  Fans are able to access the games whenever and wherever they desire by logging in with the user name and password provided by their TV service provider.

TBS is in its 8th consecutive year of live MLB game coverage, with a lineup featuring 13 regular season Sunday afternoon telecasts and an extensive MLB Postseason schedule including the exclusive presentation of the National League Wild Card Game, both National League Division Series and the National League Championship Series this year.
