Laura Dames Promoted to Executive Vice President & General Manager of Turner Studios

Laura Dames has been elevated to Executive Vice President and General Manager of Turner Studios, it was announced today by Lenny Daniels, President of Turner Sports.  In this role, Dames will oversee all facets of Turner Studios, the next generation production division that supports the entire Turner portfolio – including its leading entertainment networks and multimedia properties – on a global scale.

Tina Shah Promoted to SVP of Business Affairs, Turner Sports, and Associate General Counsel

Tina Shah has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Business Affairs, Turner Sports, and Associate General Counsel, it was announced today by Louise Sams, Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Turner, and Lenny Daniels, President of Turner Sports.  Shah, a 15-year Turner veteran, will continue to lead the legal team responsible for all of Turner Sports’ linear and digital businesses including multimedia rights agreements with Major League Baseball, the NBA, NCAA and PGA, along with owned and operated businesses in Bleacher Report and ELEAGUE.

Turner Sports has reached a multi-year agreement with Casey Stern to join the company as a studio host for MLB, NBA and NCAA programming.  Stern will continue to host MLB Postseason studio coverage on TBS.  He will also broaden his responsibilities to host studio shows on NBA TV and the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship, in partnership between Turner and CBS Sports.
