4 Blocks wins big at German Academy for Television award ceremony

German local drama production 4 Blocks won a fantastic six awards at the ceremony of Deutsche Akademie für Fernsehen (DAFF, German Academy for Television) on Saturday night. The Academy awarded the Berlin gangster epos, produced by TNT Serie, more accolades than any other production on the night making it the clear winner.

4 Blocks won prizes in the categories

Lead Male Actor (Frederick Lau);
Director (Marvin Kren);
Producing/Editorial Supervision (Anke Greifeneder);
Production (Anke Greifeneder, Hannes Heyelmann, Quirin Berg, Max Wiedemann, Eva Stadler, Karsten Rühle);
Music (Stefan Will and Marco Dreckkötter); and
Casting (Iris Baumüller).
The winners of the Awards of the DAFF are determined by the members of the Academy and this was the fifth year of awards.

4 Blocks is globally available on Amazon following a deal signed recently. It has already aired on TNT in Poland and Romania and is planned to air on Turner channels in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and France.
